I've been experiencing some severe paddling withdrawal symptoms lately and it's only been three weeks since our last race. There are still a few good races left to consider within our geographical area including the Remington II scheduled for September 4 in Rensselaer Falls NY.
All races are 6 miles on the Cowcatcher River, starting in Rensselaer Falls and finishing in Heuvelton. Start time is 9:30. There are many Recreational classes, with different events for men, women and mixed teams. There are separate events according to the age of paddlers and solo or tandem canoes. Race T-shirts to first 50 registered. There is a post race option of paddling back to the start line.
Race Classes: Recreation: Men, Mixed, Ad/Jar, RecUnlimitedOpen
Marathon: C-1Open, C-1StockOpen, C-2Open, C-2StockOpen, K-1M & W, War Canoe
